Toward the Blue Grotto
From Villa Eva you can easily reach the Blue Grotto area, by bus or on foot along the provincial road, or again on foot, taking the Strada Vecchia path which takes you there in just a few minutes. And visitors to Capri can’t miss a visit to what is said to be one of the seven wonders of the world: The Blue Grotto. There are some bathing establishments nearby with bars and restaurants in addition to the charming public beach called Gradola, where you can sunbathe and swim in the crystal waters of the bluest sea in the world. Another must is the wonderful trip along the coast starting from the Blue Grotto and heading towards the Ancient Paths and the recently renovated Nineteenth Century Forts, then on to the Faro di Punta Carena district where you can catch a bus back to Anacapri; this walk takes approximately 60-90 minutes, so walkers should set out suitably equipped with a supply of water and appropriate footwear (trainers).
