A stroll from the Villa Damecuta ruins

Damecuta is situated just a few minutes walk from Villa Eva, approximately 300 metres as the crow flies. It is one of the most beautiful and panoramic areas of Anacapri where you can walk in the magnificent pine forest and also visit the ruins of Villa Damecuta, which was commissioned by the Roman emperor Tiberius; the nineteenth century tower and the benches along the headland provide magnificent views of the countryside which embraces the Gulf of Naples, an ideal spot for basking in unforgettable sunsets. A heliport and football pitch, where sporting events are frequently held, are located in the same area.
