What makes Villa Eva different from other hotels on the island?

Rooms like cottages

Hotel Villa Eva

More like little cottages than hotel rooms, each of Villa Eva's bedrooms has its own independent entrance and private outdoor area.

A hotel like home

Guest House Villa Eva

Villa Eva is no ordinary hotel. It's a guest-house, but it's also the Parlato's family home - and they're ready to help, 24hrs a day!

A gorgeous garden

B&B Villa Eva

Giant cacti, amazing orchids, trees laden with lemons... experience the natural beauty of Capri in Villa Eva's garden.

Fairytale architecture

Bed and Breakfast Villa Eva

Open the door and enter the magical world of Villa Eva, a world in which an exotic mix of Mediterranean, Catalan and Moorish-influenced architecture results in a triumph of domes, columns, turrets and terraces.

Off the beaten track

Hotel Villa Eva

Villa Eva is located in the wildest part of the island, where you'll find only the occasional guest house and the homes of those islanders eager to escape the tourist crowds. Total tranquility, just ten minutes away from the center of Anacapri!

Poolside pleasures

Hotel Villa Eva

The pool, in the garden, is the ideal place in which to kick-start the day with a refreshing swim or unwind after a day's sightseeing. Want to go home with an authentic Mediterranean tan? Soak up the sun on Villa Eva's panoramic terrace!

Meet the family •

Eva and Vincenzo, Villa Eva

Villa Eva is more than just a hotel—it’s an entire family that has thrown open the doors to their home to welcome guests from across the globe with the same warmth they would show old friends!

Far from the VIP bustle of Capri, Villa Eva is a soothing oasis under bright blue skies that bathe each window in Mediterranean sunshine, lush with giant cacti, colorful orchids, and aromatic lemon trees. Our garden is a particularly delightful retreat, left to grow without the constraints of rigid landscaping but instead to blend in with the untamed countryside of the island.

Like its inhabitants, Villa Eva is an eclectic alchemy of styles and tastes including Art Nouveau, Moorish, Catalan, and classic Mediterranean with light blue cupolas, arches, and terraces that come together in a unique island style of architecture that pair influences from east and west.

Villa Eva is located in a quiet corner of this idyllic island beyond the reaches of mass tourism and our guests can walk to the center of town in just 10-15 minutes. With the bus, scooter, or taxi, you can be in the middle of the action in only five minutes.

The creativity and spirit of Villa Eva is a reflection of our family, who has been hosting guests for 35 years with authentic island hospitality. You’ll make fast friends with our father Vincenzo, head of the family, a dreamer at heart and the artistic soul of our villa. “Mamma” Eva, instead, is a loving giver of smiles and sincere affection.

They have now passed the management of the villa to me, Carlo, my sisters, and my wife Alma. Though we represent a new generation, we are committed to keeping the simple yet inviting island character of our small hotel intact for years to come.

How to get here •

Villa Eva is a 15/20 minute walk from the center of Anacapri.

The Damecuta archeological park is just a few meters away. It will take you about 20/30 minutes on foot to reach the island's legendary Grotta Azzurra. If you don't want to walk, you can catch a bus to the Grotta Azzurra, or the center of Anacapri, from the bus stop (2/3 minutes from the hotel).

To reach Villa Eva from the port of Capri, you can either take a taxi (the fare will be about 30/35 euro) or catch a bus (1,80 euro for a single ticket). If you choose to travel by public transport, take the bus to Anacapri and get off at Piazza Pace. From here you'll need to take a second bus, to the Grotta Azzurra, and ask the driver to stop at Villa Eva. You'll find detailed instructions of how to reach Villa Eva, together with a map, on the pdf file. However you decide to travel, let us know at what time you will be arriving and, if we are free, we'll be happy to come and collect you from the center of Anacapri!

Print the map and take it with you. Download the pdf file and print it back to front

• The things our guests loved most •

It was just like being at home! If you want to feel like an islander for a day, rather than a tourist, you're in the right place!

Alfonso, Napoli

The pool might have been small but, after a day spent walking and mucking about on the beach, it was lovely to come back and go for a refreshing swim!

Isabella, Catania

The rooms were nice and cool (we didn't bother using the air conditioning) and the windows all had mosquito netting. Everywhere was spotlessly clean.

Chris, Lugano

We could tell the place was going to be beautiful from the photos, what we weren't expecting was the incredible courtesy and kindness of the staff ... we were made to feel so at home!

Gennaro e Giorgia, Bari
